The Natural colouring of Mango wood is a light, golden brown. However this is often complimented by beautiful discolourations known as "spalting."

This is a natural colour alteration where the wood changes its colour due to fungal growth on the wood. Spalting leaves us with spots ranging from yellow to green across the already beautiful wood.

The lighter Mango finish truly allows the grain and knots to be on display, and is a celebration of the natural feel of the wood. Light Mango is excellent as a combination with dark furniture, creating the perfect contrast. and it's also a fantastic addition to bolster any Scandi style.
