About the Artist:
Summer Thornton is an award-winning artist-illustrator based in The Vale of Glamorgan. After graduating in Fine Art at the University of Arts, Norwich, Summer worked as a set designer for the theatre before starting her career as an illustrator and designer. Acquiring her first studio in “the wilds” of Norfolk, on the top floor of a beautiful watermill, Summer was inspired to create and develop an illustration portfolio. Summer has combined the inspiration of her surroundings with her love for the arts and interior design and now works out of a lovely studio in her Welsh Cottage, enjoying the quiet life with her family.
